OSMcast!

Sorry for the lack of updates, folks!  The holiday season has turned violent upon us. And by us I mean me. And by me I mean Basil. Of course I’m the only one that writes on the site so there you go.

You see a week or so ago (on joyous Black Friday) I screwed up the rotator cuff on my right shoulder. These things are not normally screwed up-able, or at least it’s not easy. The fact of the matter that being a Prophet of the Awesome Word of OSM is a very Dangerous profession and one fraught with peril and grizz-squirrels and moe fans and Gonzo fans. It’s a battle of attrition where eventually one side had to give away, and it ended up being my shoulder. BUT FEAR NOT. While battle was won, the war is far from over. I have seen doctors. I have undergone treatments. I will emerge from this stronger and more powerful than they could possibly imagine.

I have also been confirmed to have sleep apnea which means I am also  a cyborg when I sleep.

This means they’ll never catch me off guard.

Soon they’ll learn to fear.

I’m coming.

TLDR: The OSMcast! will be back as soon as we can.

Hey folks Basil here. The images I made for the next update are kinda long, and I’m not sure what to type about to fill in the space.

So give me some ideas! We’ll see what happens.

We’re just waiting on a few things to fall into place. There will be an OSMcrap on Dragonball Evolution this week, and next week we’ll be back with a true “full-length” podcast all about My Dear Marie.

Sorry folks! When Basil was sick last week, we ran with our last MTAC piece so he wouldn’t get everyone else sick. So what happens? They all caught it from someone else.

I blame Murphy. But I think we have all started onto roads of recovery so next week come back and we’ll be here too. With a NEW podcast.

So I guess AWO just updated and Daryl Surat (like Saji Crossroad you have to say both parts of his name every time or else it doesn’t count), mentioned that our next episode will be featuring him. This is completely true! Daryl Surat of the Anime World Order will be on the next OSMcast, your podcast for everything awesome. It is in fact, an awesome cast. Now, while Daryl Surat did mention he’d be on the OSMcast he only mentioned us by our awesome podcast name. So people have been Google Searching us by using terms such as:

I figured if I made a post and dropped a bunch frequently used searching terms, it just might be easier for people to find this thing. So, having found us, welcome! Please, check out our podcast! Sadly, while we thought we had a wonderfully wonderful podcast for you today, it turned out that our recording session was corrupt.

So we’ll have to rerecord it this week. We apologize for his lack of podcast, but hopefully this means an even MORE awesome one will be had NEXT week!

After several months of not being able to update the podcast’s publishing plug in, I’ve changed eveyrthing over to Blubrry’s Powerpress plugin. Thankfully it’s able to import all of WordPress’ stuff, so it was really easy! 

However, it’s not as nimble to be able to allow me to place the podcast wherever I pleased, so now it’s on the top of every post.

If you see a “” in a previous post, that was just the code that called up the old player. Also, the new player has volume control! If that means anything.

Sadly, Inubito’s computer has been struck a mighty blow, and until it recoveres we can’t finish editing any new episodes. 

We have them, but no computer kinda makes it hard to make happen. BUT as soon as it’s fixed we’ll be posting again!

We have one! It’s done! I just have to go to work now and it will be another 45 minutes before everything finishes transferring! So It will be up around 10-11 PM Central Time!
