Truly, a dashing entrance.

“When what you want to do and ought to do are one and the same, you can hear the OSMcast! speaking to you,” as they say.

Well, they do when you when what you want- nay- OUGHT to do is listen to this latest podcast! This time we cover the show Star Driver, the anime created by the studio Bones, directed by Takuya Igarashi and written by Yoji Enokido.

You know, as they say. And by they, I mean we. As  in the OSMcast! We say that. We also say a whole lot more!

Very nice episode. It’s always good to see there are people who liked Star Driver (especially when some folks like, say, Gerald couldn’t stand it back in the day). Not a very complicated show, yet definitely a lot of fun and worth recommending to others. I didn’t get the BDs, but I’m fairly content with my DVDs, since the series upscales pretty well.

Since you guys mentioned a couple of other similar yet different shows…I still really think season one of Code Geass is very rewatchable, but admittedly only certain episodes of R2 are worthwhile (like the ending).

Valvrave is…I don’t really know what to think about it right now. Entertaining in the sense it’s crazy, but not enough build-up to say it’ll ever be worth revisiting again, unlike CG or SD.
